Welcome to the Oct. 16, 2020 Junior Pro Team newsletter. Make sure you find the list of WINNERS in this week's update - every JPT member has a chance to win in our weekly drawing. Plus helpful ideas for hunters and anglers, a crazy colored trout, and a writing contest you will want to check out. But first, here's the latest winner in our photo contest......
If your family doesn't include a hunting dog yet, here are some thoughts from our friends at SportDOG Brand.
Check out this crazy colored rainbow trout! The angler caught it on Lake Superior. Read about it on the Outdoor News site here...

Back in January, JPT Member Ryan Baxter of Elmira, New York, caught and released this MUSKIE during ice fishing season. Even though a lot of JPT members are sharing photos of their success during the fall hunting season now, we know some of you are looking forward to HARDWATER SEASON. If you're saving your money for some new ice fishing gear, it's not too early to start thinking about the proper gear for safety on that early ice when it starts to form. Here are some valuable tips from JPT Head Coach Jason Revermann to consider....
If you're into hunting more than fishing, and want to get the most out of your budget - maybe building your own hunting blind is a project you could take on.
Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Four to five wooden pallets.
  • 2½-inch deck screws.
  • Screw gun/drill.
  • Construction grade stapler and staples.
  • Blind material/burlap and paint.
  • Roofing material – tin, shingles, rubber roofing, etc.
  • Five 4-foot 2x4s.
  • Assorted scrap lumber pieces (at least 2-feet in length).

Heads up! Beginning in November, we'll be sending this JPT newsletter on a monthly basis instead of every week. If there's a topic you really want to learn more about (or if you want to share YOUR tips with other JPT members), send us a note. SHARE YOUR IDEAS
