Barometric pressure is created as incoming weather changes between cold and warm - you may also hear it called "atmospheric pressure".
How It Relates to Weather:
  • Rising pressure generally signals fair, calm, and clear weather.
  • Falling pressure usually indicates an approaching low-pressure system, clouds, wind, or storms.

There are things that deer hunters need to consider, such as your hunting location, the right camo pattern or color, and scent control.
Understanding how wind direction and the weather impact wildlife can help you make smart choices and better your chances in the field this season. Learning how barometric pressure changes can play into your day of hunting can have a great payoff!
