August 21, 2020 Weekly Junior Pro Team eNewsletter

A surprise catch for this lucky JPT member.
If you're into fishing - you're going to love this "school" from our friends at Shimano!

Great news for waterfowl hunters this season. (Plus a bunch of tips to help you prepare for duck hunting this fall!)

We want YOU to be part of the JPT YouTube channel. It's super easy! Just shoot a quick selfie video of about  30 seconds to a(less than a minute) about what you're doing outdoors these days and then send it to us. Look for some ideas in this week's update.

As a special guest on Shimano's "Fishing School" LIVE series, here's your chance to meet Averie Rose, star of Bell Fibe TV in Canada – when she joins host JP DeRose on Facebook and YouTube through this series.

Shimano will be bringing top names in the fishing industry together for the "Fishing School" Live series that will run throughout August and into September.

In her other videos, Averie loves showing viewers how she’s learned to cast jerkbaits to catch smallmouth and how to fool largemouth bass with bladed jigs. In this interview, she’ll share her thoughts on not only catching bass, but also walleye, lake perch and northern pike. Plus, JP will talk with her about the needed tackle,  plus her advice on learning how to use baitcasting reels.
You may have missed the live event that we had shared on the Junior Pro Team Facebook page, but you can catch these (and more videos) on Shimano's YouTube Channel

Do you have some fishing tips to share? Make a quick video and send it to us. We may feature you on the JPT YouTube channel! Send your video to us HERE
If you're into duck hunting, we've got great news! In a recent article, Outdoor News reported that it looks like the fall flight is expected to be strong this year!
